typically the smoothie’s available in cafe or any popular chains, contains high sugar quantity which makes it unhealthy cold beverage. however in this recipe i have used honey as a sweetening agent which not only helps to improve the taste, but also adds the additional health benefits from it. moreover, it makes an ideal breakfast recipe because banana’s are rich in carbs and potasium. where as milk is full ofcarbs with proteins and fats. hence banana smoothie recipe makes a complete and nutritious food which not only provides the necessary energy for the body, but also helps to reduce the weight.

  • 5 badam / almonds
  • 1 tsp dry grapes / kishmish
  • 5 cashew / kaju
  • 5 pistachios
  • 1 ripened banana, sliced
  • 3 tbsp warm water, to soak
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 cup cold milk

for chocolate banana smoothie:

  • 1 ripened banana, sliced
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder, unsweetened
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract / essence
  • 1 cup cold milk

Instructions

dry fruit banana smoothie recipe:

  • firstly, in a small bowl soak 5 each dates, badam, cashew, pistachios and 1 tsp dry grapes.

  • after soaking dry fruits for 15-30 mins in warm water, transfer to blender.

  • also add 1 ripened banana, 1 tbsp honey and 1 cup cold milk.

  • blend smooth making sure dry fruits and blended well.

  • finally, pour dry fruit banana smoothie in a serving jar and serve.

chocolate banana smoothie recipe:

  • firstly, in a blender take 1 ripened banana.

  • also add 1 tbsp honey, 2 tbsp cocoa powder, 1 tsp vanilla extract and 1 cup cold milk.
