Haley Rainey leads the Titans staff with a 17-6 overall record and is 35th in the nation with a 1.63 ERA. Rainey pitched a six-inning perfect game against Pacific (Feb. 10) and a no-hitter against UC Santa Barbara (April 20).
Staci Chambers sits alongside Rainey at the top of the Big West in ERA (2.16) and opposing batting average (.219). Chambers pitched her first no-hitter on Feb. 11 against Colorado State. She pitched a career-best 10 innings in relief against CSUN, leading the Titans to a series win.
Fullerton's first opponent will be USA Softball's No. 17 Mississippi State Bulldogs. The Bulldogs are 33-18 overall and went 12-12 in SEC play. The Bulldogs finished third in the conference and were defeated by South Carolina in the first round of the SEC tournament.
